Được ưa chuộng tại hơn 70 quốc gia, là một trong những lá cờ tiên phong của tập đoàn Carlsberg trên thị trường bia thế giới.   1. Xuất xứ của cái tên Tuborg

Tuborg xuất phát từ chữ Thuesborg, từ gốc là “Thues Castle”, tên một lâu đài trên ngọn đồi tại Copenhagen. Người ta cũng sẽ thường thấy các địa danh tại Đan Mạch hay có gắn với chữ Borg – nghĩa là ngọn đồi, một hình tượng rất đẹp của Đan Mạch. Phố Tuborgvej tại Copenhagen được đặt theo tên ban đầu của nhà máy bia Tuborg.

Nắp giật được ra đời vào những năm 1930s, khác với nắp chai thông thường, nắp giật được mở dễ dàng bằng tay và không cần bất cứ dụng cụ nào. Tuborg là một trong những nhãn bia đầu tiên trên thế giới áp dụng công nghệ nắp giật trên những chai bia của mình. Từ đó, nắp giật đã trở thành thương hiệu để nhận diện của Tuborg trên toàn Thế giới. Bia Tuborg là nhà tài trợ của rất nhiều các festival âm nhạc đình đám trên thế giới như: Tuborg Green Fest, Roskilde tại Đan Mạch… Thành công vang dội của Tuborg ở Nga có một phần lớn là nhờ các hoạt động liên quan đến âm nhạc tại khu vực Đông Âu.
